AY 2010-2011 First Semester: An Unforgettable Term

This is a repost from my other blog. I'll be trying to write different topics on each blog so as to ensure variety.

It is my first time to blog. So this is what it feels like. I feel like trembling. It’s funny though. I should not be feeling like this. I am not new to writing. I had my share of writing back when I was in high school and early college years. I created this post last Saturday and this is my first entry. What took me so long?

1. no time to write (busy with extra activities, e.g. choir, etc.)
2. nothing to write (my brain has stopped functioning I guess)

Anyway, it has been days since the first semester had ended. I guess this would be my first post. This term was quite unforgettable – full of surprises, happy moments and also the sad ones. There were lot of happenings, and I guess it would take me until 4 am to write it all. Summing it up, here are the things that happened this term:

-I still enrolled in NCST. It was the fault of the Registrar’s assistant. I should have transferred to UP.

-This was my hardest term so far in terms of academics. I was stuck with two incompetent teachers (Statistics and Human Behavior), and I am expecting a low grade by Friday.

-This term challenged me. I learned how to do self-study, researches and discover things on my own. I still can’t believe that I did a system using Visual Basic using codes that weren’t taught to us. I did finally manage to speak in front of my classmates for my Business Communication class.

-The best term in terms of social aspect. I get to know my other classmates well, and previous misunderstandings were cleared up. I love you classmates!

-I acquired bad habits this term. I learned how to cheat (sometimes ;p). I hope not to cheat by second semester.

-Constant stress and depression due to academics, uncooperative groupmates.

Because of the things mentioned above, this semester will remain in my memory. Yes, there are bad things that happened to me, but this semester made me more stronger than before.

I am now excited for my second semester. I wonder how will it turn out?
